Hey Coach,

"I set out to be Revolutionary.

 

I recognize that I am one of a kind!

 

By itself, that doesn't make me better or worse than anyone else. It simply makes me powerful!

 

I am equipped with a unique combination of challenges, shortcomings, faults, blind spots, talents, gifts, abilities, preferences, desires, experiences, purpose and genetic makeup.

 

What this means is: 

 

No one else on earth is built exactly like me and no one else on the planet experiences life exactly like I do.

 

Since no one else has exactly what I have and no one else sees the world exactly as I do, they cannot do what I'm here to do in the way I'm here to do it!

 

When I walk into a room, I change that room.

 

Just by being me, I create change.

 

That in itself is revolutionary and powerful!

 

Guess who else has that power?"

I wrote the above declaration at a time when I was able to take a couple hours and just think about my place in this world. I now use it to remind myself whenever I am about to embark on some ambitious undertaking or to remind others that they too can be revolutionary.

 

For me and many others, the end of one year and the start of another is a time for reflection and a time for looking forward. As I reflect on 2023, I am grateful for you putting your trust in me (even if it's from season's past) and I look forward to being a member of the team you assemble to help you fund amazing experiences for your team in 2024.

If you are able, take an hour or two during the holiday/winter break, grab a Starbucks beverage/snack on me and decide how you will flex your power and be revolutionary in 2024.
